Liquid Gold Leaf
Some hobby shops and craft stores sell small bottles of Liquid Gold
Leaf next to the other gold leaf supplies. Basically, this is a fancy
gold paint that you brush on. It's the same consistency of many enamel
paints, maybe slightly thinner.
To be honest, the finish is no better than your average, run-of-the-mill
brushable enamel gold paint. I recommend plain Testor's gold enamel
paint, as the results are the same, but Testor's is about half the price,
and a lot more readily available.
